Halo 3: Review

Halo 3 is a first-person shooter video game developed by Bungie for Xbox 360. The game is the third title in the Halo series and concludes the story arc that began in Halo: Combat Evolved and continued in Halo 2. The game was released on September 25, 2007 in Australia, Brazil, India, New Zealand, North America, and Singapore; September 26, 2007 in Europe; and September 27, 2007 in Japan. On the day before its official release, 4.2 million units of Halo 3 were in retail outlets.

Halo 3 offered more to the Halo experience, than any Halo game had ever thought to offer before. Some Halo fans, (Including myself,) were disappointed with some of the weapon replacements from the first Halo. (We all loved the Original Pistol) the Halo 2 magnum was disappointing. The pistol in Halo 3 was also disappointing, although a much better improvement over Halo 2. Halo 3 ODST had a great Silenced Pistol I love this and wish I had it in other Halo games to avoid detection. Halo 3 had many great improvements to the series. Moreover, they seemed to have addressed every Halo issue in Halo: Reach. (Releasing: September 14, 2010) Although I cannot confirm that at this time, due to no experience in this game at this time, I do however intend on covering this in a future update on Halo: Reach.

The story mode is fun and somewhat extensive, though easily beatable within a day, by experienced players at least. Bungie did something a little different with the A.I. in the game, and the enemy's are a lot smarter and somewhat difficult to kill. The difficulty seems like it has gotten a lot more lax sense Halo: Combat Evolved. Still hold true to their degree of difficulty.

The multiplayer is clean and easily the best part of, Halo 3. (This includes the 4 player Co-Op) & Xbox Live. (The multiplayer can be played with Halo3 ODST; they play on the same servers. Which means those playing on the ODST Disc, can play Multiplayer with those playing on the Halo3 Disc.) The multiplayer experience is great and adds the Replay value of Halo. It is a fast-paced combat environment. It can be team based or free for all & objective based games.

Below I will add My Personal Screen shots. (Some of them where posed, some were in game action.)

Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare Review

Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare is a first-person shooter video game, developed by Infinity Ward and published by Activision for the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and Wii video game consoles and the Microsoft Windows and Mac OS X operating systems. This game set the bar for all future, Call of Duty, games. C.O.D. 4: MW brought fantastic and stable Multiplayer to the table. (Like they did with C.O.D. 3)

This game was a BIG hit with Xbox Live players. Moreover, continues to be played heavily to date. Even after its sequel release, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2. Some players even prefer to play the 1'st one over the 2'nd one.

Upon release the game had many exploits and glitch's which were later patched. I fully recommend picking this game up for a solid FPS experience.

Book Review: Halo Contact Harvest

Going to keep this review short sense it's a book and I do not want to ruin it for anyone! ^_^'

ON WITH THE REVIEW!

** WARNING: POSSIBLE SPOILERS. **

This book on Halo Focus is mainly on Sgt. Johnson. In the Year 2524 just before the first contact with the Covenant, A not so random mix of different Aliens; But that is another story. Contact Harvest is what was going on when we first made contact with the covenant. In order, it is Contact Harvest, then The Fall of Reach, then The Flood, then First Strike, then Ghosts of Onyx. This book helps put the story in perspective. Moreover, is well worth the Read!

True Blood - HBO Review

True Blood is the best vampire themed TV series to date, and has been sense it debuted September 7, 2008 - Present!

I like the guru of, True Blood, was a big fan of, Buffy, Angel and other supernatural shows. I love it when the weekend comes around because I know True Blood is gonna be on Sunday Night at 9:00pm EST! Which I have my DVR set to record in-case I am not around. (Heaven forbid I miss an episode!)

Season 1 was exceptional! You either liked, True Blood, then, or you didn't. Think of season one as the pilot season, to show you around, Bon-Temps, LA. It lets you get a feel of the characters and their personalities.

Season two, while seemingly slower then season one, season two dives deeper in to the, True Blood, story. Showing just how out of hand things can get in Bon-Temps, LA. Season two gives you a slight glance in to the characters abilities. It also towards the end of the season set's the stage and pace for season three.

Season Three, the story line explodes with details! Season three really lives up to the pace season 2 set. it brings the seasons together, things start to tie in and makes many more things make sense. It makes the whole long run story make sense while it seems to be setting the stage for season 4! Enjoy fellow Trubies... Happy hunting!

About Me: "Jesse" Lee

Howdy ya'll! I'm "Jesse" Lee the Lee portion of the Crew & Lee team here on this blog and as the title says we will be reviewing the world, no one, nor anything is safe! But before I do that I thought it would be nice if you got to know me a bit first. Crew and I have known each other for years and hit it right off we have pretty much done anything two friends can do together from getting injuries to creating hilarious youtube videos. We agree on most things but differ on some as most friends often do, still we can always find common ground in one thing or another. I myself am a avid Playstation and PC gamer and can find me most of the time on iracing.com or on Playstation 3. In my personal life I am a Stock car driver by passion and paramedic by profession. Both of which are things I love and wouldn't trade for anything in the world. They are rewarding beyond a paycheck, and never get boring. I enjoy automobiles, regardless of make or model, although I must admit I am a fan boy of anything America. I hope to bring you reviews of new automobiles, games, and movies as a standard. Not to mention the countless random things I will no doubt bring to you. I hope you enjoy this blog as much as Crew and myself do and any feedback is much appreciated, we do not fear your opinions or comments! I hope you will find my take on most things funny, and/or sarcastic while at the same time informative. I'm honored I get to write columns here and to have my opinions heard. Finally I feel I must just state that all my reviews are MY opinion and mine only, they do not reflect Crew or blogger.com. Until next time we are Crew & Lee, and we are reviewin' your world....because if we don't...SOMEONE ELSE WILL!

The Wolfman

Well here is the review for the Wolfman.

Personal Rating: 3.5/5 Stars

The Wolfman, where to start? This is a complete remake of the classic. (And a well done one at that.) but this movie didn't keep me interested much at all. The "Unrated" version, is disappointing. Watching the trailer for this movie is very misleading. The story was sound and stayed true to "The Wolfman" but this is not at all the movie I was expecting it to be. However for a REMAKE this movie is Fantastic. I would recommend it if you would like to see a remake, but I wouldn't recommend it as a scare-the-pants-off movie.

I loved the fact that Anthony Hopkins was in this movie, in my eye he is the only BIG NAME in this movie. everyone else was kinda B-list celebrity.

Either way this movie is defiantly worth checking out. Rent if you Just wanna see it. Buy if your a fan!

Thoughts

Today I have noticed allot of my friends are either engaged or married. Why is this? It does not make much sense to me. Marriage is great and all but allot of my friends are regretting their choice to get married. I do not know what to think. Right now In my life If I had to I think I could manage but it's not really on my priority list. Though love is, I am very much in love with the girl of my dreams, I'm sorry I believe in love at first touch. That's right I said touch. Love at first sight is silly because the eyes can lie. But a touch is revealing. For the first time in my life everything feels right, this is a whole new experience for me. I once thought I knew all there was to know about dating, but I learned fast that non of what I thought I knew was true. Though It seems I was right all along in what I thought was right, I was just a little misguided and it took me a few relationships and a few mistakes to get to where I am at today. My current girlfriend, she seems to be happy with me. We haven't been going out all that long but it is love, with a chance to be True Love. Only time will tell that, however in the meantime we have allot yet to overcome together as a couple. For one, she lives in a city up from mine. So we cannot see each other as much as we would like. Now I'm not going to say that's killin' it for us, but let's just say it's not helpin, I look at it as a test. A test that I am ready to be over. I am looking forward to our next outing together which is going to be very soon, it seems I am taking her to see the new Twilight: Eclipse, movie, which is exciting. To see her happy is a thrill, maybe we won't sit so close this time. NO FRONT ROW PLEASE. In closing this is just a quick update on some thoughts and relationship progression. Goodnight...

Choices Effect Life Path

Life is what you make of it. Important choices (the ones that effect your life path.) are not going to be easy ones. The choice you have made have lead you where you are at this moment. I believe if you are happy where you are at in your current place in life then you have made some good choice that influence your direction. If not then one must take a step back and re-evaluate what choices you have in front of you, and choose the one best for you and the direction you would like to go.

As far as flaws, They do not exist in Human beings, Why? Because perfection doesn't exist. Where you may see a flaw, I may see a uniqueness, what makes you, you. Flaws only exist where perfection can be found. Which is rare to non-existent.

Believe in your self, and you will go far, with out being hung up as much on troubles that will inevitably come around.

Perfection

Perfection sounds good to some people. It sounds like a challenge to me. Some people try excessively hard to achieve true perfection, something that in my opinion is unrealistic. In addition is unobtainable. Some say perfection is only found in certain people. If you were to ask me, I say perfection is found in everyday life. Sure, there are some hard times. However, there are also some perfect moments in life, Such as Friends and Family. Spending time with them, and enjoying that time you have. That is one way to achieve perfection. Nevertheless, I also understand this is not always possible. On my adventure to achieve perfection, I sure enough hit some serious roadblocks. College life was a real wake up call. I did not seem to fit in. I still do not. No one talks to you. Everyone just does what they need to for that day and leaves, but this is not the point. I dressed and acted like all the "cool people," or at least tried. Soon after I realized that I was not happy with myself, and I defaulted back to my original self, where I feel comfortable, and BAM! Everything started falling back in to place. Perfect imperfections, which as a human being, make me "Perfectly Unique." People judge people on how they walk, talk, and the like. People judge only imperfections, things that others cannot change. That is what makes everyone perfect. Perfectly Unique, that is. "It is never too late to be what you might have been." - George Eliot. This is so true! It is never too late to change what you are, who you are, and what you are going to be! Do not let anyone tell you otherwise. What I would like to see is for people to open their eyes and see the perfections in others. Then let it reflect upon us, let it shine in our attitudes. Moreover, reflect in our day-to-day life.

Irish Eyes

When Irish eyes are smiling,

Tis like a morn in spring.

With a lilt of Irish laughter

You can hear the angels sing

When Irish hearts are happy

All the world is bright and gay

When Irish eyes are smiling

Sure, they steal your heart away.

[DoV] Dawn of Vengence

Dawn normally thought to be the sign of a new day.

Today however is the dawn of a new era.

One the world never saw coming.

Aiming down the sights of this thing, we call life.

We stare the beast down.

And slash out with our knives!

Psyche out!

Successfully striking down our enemy.

This is the Dawn of Vengence.

Please do not promise me forever.

Please do not promise me forever.

I want us to love each other one day at a time...

...and string all those days together like the precious things they are...

...instead of trying too hard and promising too much.

Please do not expect me to always be good, kind, and loving. There are things when I will be cold, thoughtless, and hard to understand.

However, it will only be because of the weather the flu, or one of my moods...

...not because I love you less.

Please remember that.

Please do not think about all the things that could happen to us. Do not think about other people coming between us. Do not think about outgrowing each other or growing out of love.

Please do think about all the good things that could happen to us. Think of growing closer to each other finding new reasons for being together...

..And think of loving. I will, too. I am right now.

Please do not get mad at me if I forget your birthday or some special day we share...

...and please remember that there is an "everydayness" about what we have that is beyond birthdays and anniversaries.

That is why, sometimes, I may not remember one special day... because all out days are special to me.

Please do not ever sign a letter "as ever."

Please do not be too easy on me... or expect me to be too easy on you.

Both of us have room to grow, and both of us have to grow if we want to hold each other's love.

Please do not ever give me too much of yourself or take too much of me. In our togetherness we still need out private places.

Please listen to me when I am talking to you...

...and please do not ever think about someone else when I kiss you.

Please do not start an argument or make me look foolish in front of other people...

...but when we are alone do not feel like you are walking on eggs. Go ahead and say what you think. If I need telling off, tell me off

Then we can have our fight, make up, and love again. Just us...

Please remember to call me sometimes for no reason except that you feel me thinking about you, needing your voice.

Please do not ever lose that laugh of yours -- it's such a real laugh.

And never change the way you brush my hair back from my eyes and smile, or pull my ear when I'm trying to be very serious... or the little off ways you have of saying things that make you "you," one of a kind, the one I love.

Please let us not use politeness, busyness, and silence to avoid our problems and the places where we hurt. If something is wrong let's go after it and make it right. (!!!)

It is a good feeling to think of growing older with you, but, please, let us not ever grow old.

I want us to always hang on to the newness that we have right now. In addition, let us never be ashamed of our innocence, of the child within us. Let us never give up our dreams.

Please do not try to keep it from me when you are feeling down. I will never be able to share your joy if you try to protect me from your sadness.

Please do not ever say ever...

...and please do not promise me forever. All I ask is that you love me now.

Moreover, please know that I love you more today than I ever have before. I cannot promise you forever, but I can promise you today with the hope and belief that there is a beautiful tomorrow in store for us.

Amen
